Has TOWIE star James 'Arg' Argent hinted a return to The Jump?!

Arg became the second celebrity to be eliminated from The Jump on last Sunday's show (7 Feb) - but he could be returning to the slopes!

In an Instagram post Arg hinted he could be making a surprise comeback! The reality star shared a snap of himself grinning and doing a big thumbs up for the camera, dressed in snow gear during training in Austria - he captioned the snap: "But it feels so empty without me...!!! #ReturnOfTheMac hahahahaha x"

Fans were quick to question if his mention of a 'Return' signalled he was back in the winter sports competition, saying "Wait!! What?! Does this mean you're back."

Arg's post comes after his former TOWIE co-star Ferne McCann revealed on This Morning he might be called to return after numbers of celeb competitors dwindled because of injuries.

She told viewers Arg himself her told her he was potentially strapping on the ski's once again, saying: "I spoke to Arg this morning, I rang him up and said 'Arg, I'm doing a bit on The Jump, give me the goss!'

"He got kicked out the competition on Sunday, he said he was loving it and learnt so much. "He said 'I might be going back in!'"

Arg's girlfriend Lydia Bright would probably have something to say about that though. Before he took on the challenge she told us she had her concerns, so after breathing a huge sigh of relief when Arg made it through in one piece the TOWIE star could be in for a shock!

"I am nervous... I'm just hoping he doesn't go out there and hurt himself. I think a lot of the other celebrities have skied before or done so for years... I just don't want him coming back with any broken bones. That's all I'll ask of him!"

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here NOW! co-host Joe Swash and Miss Great Britain Zara Holland are also rumoured to be lined up as replacements.

A total of four celebrities have now been forced to quit The Jump after sustaining injuries. Made In Chelsea's Mark-Francis is the latest to leave, after fracturing his ankle.

His exit followed Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle who hurt her back when she collided with a barrier after a tricky jump in training, and underwent surgery to fuse fractured vertebrae in her neck. Beth remains in hospital, and in a recent update her parents told fans "at the moment we aren't certain of a timescale for her recovery".

Fellow Olympian Rebecca Adlington also had to pull out when she dislocated her shoulder after falling painfully during training for the air jump, and Hollyoaks actress Tina Hobley departed after dislocating her elbow.
