Fifty Shades of Grey: Bella Heathcote and Arielle Kebbler join sequels

Two new actresses have joined the Fifty Shades of Grey family.

Bella Heathcote has been cast as Leila Williams, a former submissive of Christian Grey, who has a breakdown during the events of the first book and causes trouble for Anastasia Steele in second film Fifty Shades Darker.

Arielle Kebbel, meanwhile, will play Gia Matteo in third film Fifty Shades Freed. Her character is an architect hired to work on Christian and Anastasia's new property in Seattle, but rubs Ana up the wrong way.

Oh dear.

According to The Wrap, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed will be shot back to back but released in separate years: 2017 and 2018.

Kim Basinger is said to be in talks to play Elena, the older former lover of Christian who introduced him to the world of submissives and dominants.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will return as the main characters Christian and Ana as we continue to delve into their BDSM relationship. Other returning actors will likely include Rita Ora who had a brief role in the first film as Christian's sister Mia.

Australian actress Bella, 28, has appeared in Neighbours and the recent Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. US-born Arielle, 30, is known for her apperances in 90210, Vampire Diaries and Gilmore Girls.
