The 26-year-old was taken to hospital after injuring himself during a challenge on Sunday's show, and will not be making a return to the winter sports competition.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 told Reveal: "Whilst racing during the show on Sunday evening Mark-Francis fell, injuring his ankle. He received immediate medical attention but sadly will not be able to continue in the competition due to an ankle fracture which has now been treated."
Mark joins a growing list of celebs no longer competing due to injury. Former Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle has undergone surgery which involved having a piece of bone taken from her hip to fuse fractured vertebrae in her neck.
Fellow Olympian Rebecca Adlington and Holby City's Tina Hobley have also been forced to withdraw because of injury. Rebecca, 26, dislocated her shoulder after falling painfully during training for the air jump, whilst Tina departed after dislocating her elbow.
Viewers of the show have been alarmed at the level of injuries, questioning whether the show is safe and if it should be continued. In response to the backlash Channel 4 have confirmed they will review safety procedures on the show.
With so many celebs quite literally crashing out of the competition, Brian McFadden, who is still taking part in the show, poked fun at the high volume of injuries with a jokey Tweet.
Lying on a hospital bed and gripping onto the sides, he pulled an alarmed expression and captioned the image "Just arrived at jump HQ. training for next weeks event. The hospital bed race."
