Jeremy McConnell has played coy on reports he's landed his own TV show with Stephanie Davis, joking: "I think that's on Babestation!"

The Celebrity Big Brother housemate was quizzed about the rumours during an appearance on Ireland's Ray D'Arcy Show on Saturday night, but chose to go down the joke route rather than confirm or deny the claims.

Oh, you tease!

Jez, 25, joked: "I think that's on Babestation, that is! No, no. We are going to take it easy, go with the flow. My agent is backstage, there is a lot of stuff happening. I'm only back in Ireland today and there's been a massive response. I just want to kind of chill out, see my mates."

The couple fell for each other in the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother but their relationship courted controversy from the start as Stephanie entered the house in a relationship with model Sam Reece.

Now that Stephanie and Jeremy are both out of the house, and Stephanie's relationship with Sam appears to have ended, Jeremy has said he and Steph are working towards their own relationship but not rushing anything.

"Like I said, she's come out of a relationship in the house, basically, so there's no point jumping straight into it," explained Jeremy. "Take two weeks, take a breather, see your friends and family. You need breathing space after that."

But he did say he feels strongly about Steph.

"I looked logically in the house, is this the type of girl outside I would like?" he added. "Yes. She is smart, intelligent, fun, witty, just the type of girl I like.. At the moment I really like the girl and I haven't liked someone that much in a long time, probably since the first girlfriend kind of thing, so I have to play it how I feel it."
