Jacqueline Jossa has defended fiance Dan Osborne, saying his talent is "really underestimated" and he deserves success, but he's been worn down by the criticism he's received over the past year.

EastEnders actress Jacqueline told Fabulous magazine that she thinks her partner is a "force to be reckoned with" when it comes to his talent and good looks, but he's feeling apathetic about fame these days.

She explained he's become disillusioned with celebrity following a difficult year that included him leaving The Only Way Is Essex and being accused of being verbally abusive to an ex-girlfriend in a leaked phone call.

Jacqueline said: "Daniel is really underestimated – he's really, really talented, he's good at drawing, he can sing and he can act as well. And he's obviously the best-looking thing I've ever seen. So you put all that together, he's a force to be reckoned with.

"But part of him just can't be bothered to even try any more. He just thinks: 'What's the point?' He'll not do anything right."

Jacqueline, 23, added that there are certain people who seem to want her and Dan, 24, to fail - but they won't.

"There are people who have always had it in for us, a million per cent. Definitely, and I know who they are. And then a lot of people just jumped on the bandwagon and tried to create drama. I don't know how or why it escalated, but we've become an easy target. The main thing is our family and friends know the truth. That's all that matters really."

They became engaged on a family holiday abroad over the summer. Their daughter Ella arrived in February 2015. Dan is also dad to son Teddy, two, from a previous relationship.
