Although the model has, on the whole, attempted to keep a dignified silence while his girlfriend (now ex) took part in this year's Celebrity Big Brother, he has now hit back at claims made during Friday night's final.
In a tweet posted on Saturday (6 February), Sam said: "I can confirm that the accusation that Stephanie has made regarding me being unfaithful to her is completely untrue and very hurtful."
During the live final, Steph - who came runner-up to eventual winner Scotty T - told CBB host Emma Willis that she had embarked on a relationship with Jeremy McConnell in the house because of past problems with Sam.

In her exit chat, Stephanie said: "The truth is, if things were happy at home then all of this wouldn't have happened. Sam hurt me and broke my heart - and he knows that. He made me feel worthless."
She also told fellow housemates that Sam had cheated on her.
At exactly the same time as Sam tweeted his denial, Stephanie posted: "God loves a trier." Although it is unclear if she was responding to Sam's message.
Stephanie had been dating model Sam for more than a year but, within days of entering the CBB house, she began growing close to Irish Jeremy.
The night she was evicted, Stephanie seemed to refer to claims that Sam was 'cashing in' when she tweeted: "I'm out I'm free and don't know how to use my phone, ha with my @Megan_Mckenna_ lolling! #aintnotimeforusers #famehungry #lols."
Stephanie left the house and straight into the arms of waiting Jeremy, where they kissed passionately in front of the CBB crowds.
Scotty T won CBB by a large majority of 36.32%, while Stephanie was runner-up with 26.57%.
