The former Hollyoaks actress fell for Jeremy, 25, during their three weeks together in the house, despite entering the show with a boyfriend, model Sam Reece, waiting for her on the outside.
Now that Jeremy has been evicted, housemate Tiffany Pollard has been asking Stephanie it was an automatic attraction between the pair, or whether it grew over time.
Stephanie replied: "I thought 'Oh s**t I'm in trouble! This is going to be hard!' It was instant."
The 22-year-old has to wait until Friday evening now to see Jeremy again, as she's through to the final alongside Tiffany, Darren Day, Danniella Westbrook, John Partridge and Scotty T.
Tiffany has reassured her that Jez will be waiting and won't have changed his mind about her since he's been out, adding what Stephanie and Jeremy share is a "love story."
Viewers watched Stephanie and Jeremy grow close in the house, before friendship turned to romance. Cuddles became kisses and I love yous were exchanged, which courted plenty of controversy among viewers as Steph had been in a relationship with Sam for the last year.
Sam has yet to comment.
Appearing on ITV's This Morning this week, Jeremy said: "I meant everything I said. I wasn't in there for a showmance. I followed my heart. I never went in there with an agenda to wreck people's lives, I followed my heart and stand by it.
"Obviously those circumstances, I wouldn't like to be in that situation, nor would anybody. I like to think I have a bit of integrity but obviously to Sam, I'm sorry the way it worked out."
