Sam Reece has liked a tweet suggesting he treated girlfriend Stephanie Davis well before she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The model hasn't said anything about Stephanie since 11 January, when he withdrew his support from her over Twitter. Since then, she's kissed and cuddled fellow housemate Jeremy McConnell, even saying she loves him.

Jez suggested Stephanie found someone better in him.

Jeremy, who was evicted on Friday night, has suggested Steph "found something better" in him, telling the Daily Star: "Steph told me things that she wasn't happy about. Obviously there were chinks in the chain in Steph's relationship."

He also alleged: "She's never been treated by a guy who has her best interests at heart. She said she hasn't been treated like the woman she deserves to be. When a girl hasn't been taken out for dinner, she's 22 years old and she's had three relationships, it's not good enough."

Sam didn't directly respond to Jeremy's comments, but did like a tweet by another user which read: "Sorry, but judging by Sam Reece Instagram pics of him and Steph on holidays, nights out, kissing, laughing, smiling, she didn't seem badly treated."

Is that Sam's way of rubbishing Jeremy's claim?

Sam has liked plenty of other tweets defending him and praising him for not selling any stories on Stephanie or becoming embroiled in all the publicity generated by her relationship with Jeremy. He also liked tweets laughing about the suggestion he used Stephanie for publicity, pointing out he was already a successful model before the whole CBB furore happened.

Meanwhile, model Jeremy has apologised to Sam for the way things played out with Stephanie, saying he never meant to hurt anybody, he was just following his heart.

He told ITV's This Morning: "I meant everything I said. I wasn't in there for a showmance. I followed my heart. I never went in there with an agenda to wreck people's lives, I followed my heart and stand by it.

"Obviously those circumstances, I wouldn't like to be in that situation, nor would anybody. I like to think I have a bit of integrity but obviously to Sam, I'm sorry the way it worked out."

Stephanie is up for eviction tonight against Gemma Collins and Danniella Westbrook.
