Darren Day: "CBB is a big adventure for me"
Darren is grilled by special guest Gillian McKeith where he talks about his journey so far in the house.
Speaking to Gillian, Darren told her: "This wasn't about coming and making money, this was about trying to change the public's perception of me."
Darren said that once being described as "the most hated man in Britain" affected him.
"You consider that perhaps that's what people think of you and it did affect my confidence in walking out on stage," he said. "This for me was a big adventure and a very important. Now I do my best every single day of my life to be the best dad I can be, the best husband I can be and generally to be the best man I can be."
Darren is known for his high profile romances with the likes of Isla Fisher, Anna Friel and Suzanne Shaw.
He's made a name for himself in the West End in performances of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Grease.
CBB airs nightly at 9pm on Channel 5.
