TOWIE star Gemma is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house, but ex-Big Brother contestant Alex Sibley alleges she charges money for fans to take photos with her at her boutique in Essex.
Taking to Twitter, Alex claimed his "friend's daughter" was "charged £12" for a photo with Gemma.
He then said: "In my day, I never charged people even if it was annoying. The people that wanted my autograph or selfie made me popular and got me work."
Now, Gemma's team have responded to his claims. Managing her Twitter account while she's in the house, they said in response: "In order to control the flow and keep the queue flowing during busy periods, we sometimes operate product signings where customers are asked to buy something from the boutique before meeting Gemma for an autograph/selfie.
"This is the only way we can make sure Gemma can focus on styling the girls / regulars that go into her store."
The message continued to say that Gemma often takes her fans out for meals, drinks and treats them for their birthday.
