Rebecca Adlington has admitted she might be a little "crazy" signing up for The Jump - especially as she has already sustained an injury during training.

Soon, the Channel 4 winter sports reality show is back for another series and viewers will see Rebecca take to the slopes alongside TOWIE's James 'Arg' Argent, MIC star Mark-Francis Vandelli, Brain McFadden and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding.

The gang are already training out in Austria and Rebecca has revealed she ended up in hospital after popping her shoulder on the ski run (ouch!). But, her fall hasn't seemed to put her off and Rebecca is even itching to give the dreaded skeleton a go...

The skeleton sees our celebs hurtling down an ice track head first - is she crazy? Well, she seems to think so.

Speaking to The Daily Star recently, Olympic gold medallist Becky said: "I think I might be crazy doing this show. I am normally over cautious... but I'm up for the challenge."

She then added: "Is it wrong that I can't wait to do the skeleton? I know it's the one most people are scared about, but I think it will be hilarious, and as no one will have done it before, we will all be in the same boat."

Last series of The Jump was won by Becky's former I'm A Celeb campmate Joey Essex and she revealed she has been picking his brains for a few tips when it comes to the slopes.

"Joey has given me some advice, but to be honest, I am not as much of a daredevil as him," she claimed. "I am a mum now and I am more cautious about throwing myself off mountains, but he told me it was loads of fun!"

Ahead of her Jump debut, Rebecca has admitted she has never skied before so she's going into the show a total beginner.

She said: "I've never been allowed to ski because of swimming, it's always been too risky. Having watched it last year and seeing Joey and people who are non-skiers do it and love it made me want to do it."

"I've always wanted to be able to ski, go on a ski holiday, be in chalet and hit the slopes every day," Becky admitted. "I'm looking forward to a new challenge, learning something new."

The Jump returns this Sunday 31 January at 7.30pm on Channel 4.
