As she commits to intensive training high in the Austrian Alps, does she have what it takes to win?
Find out what Louisa had to say below:
Why did you say 'yes' to doing The Jump?
It's a new challenge and I love a challenge I have never skied before and I love an adventure!
Which event are you most looking forward to?
No idea, I think once I get there and start training I'll have more of an idea as to what I enjoy and what I'm most afraid of.
Are you competitive?
I'll soon see! I was definitely competitive during Strictly. I think on all these shows you start off with less pressure on yourself and as time goes on and you're having so much fun you then really want to stay.
Are you sporty?
I work out, I love the gym, I have two amazing personal trainers. It's important to feel good and be healthy for me but as for sports or skiing it's not something I have done before.
Have you spoken to anyone who has done The Jump before?
I have spoken to Joe McElderry who won the first year, he said I'll have the best time but be prepared for bruises.
Do you know anyone already who is in this year's line up?
I have met a few of the contestants before. It's a great group, I'm sure we will have a laugh along the way.
Are you looking forward to being out in Austria and living with the other competitors?
Yes, I think the experience as a whole will be one to remember.
* This interview took place before Louisa arrived in Austria.
