Last week, fans of The Only Way Is Essex were saddened to hear Ferne was thinking about leaving the ITVBe reality show. However, catching up with Reveal recently, the 25-year-old admits that while she will be focusing on other projects, she'll still be rubbing shoulders with our Essex faves onscreen.
According to recent reports, Ferne had said she thinks it is time to move on from TOWIE.
Following her stint on I'm A Celebrity, that saw Ferne finish in third place on the show, she has been in huge demand. Not only has she regularly been heard on Capital FM's breakfast show alongside Dave Berry, George Shelley and Lilah Parsons, she has also been presenting the showbiz segment for ITV's This Morning.
Catching up with Ferne recently, we found out she has plenty of exciting projects up her sleeve for this year, so where does that leave TOWIE in her packed out diary?
Addressing those exit rumours, Ferne exclusively told us: "I would never shut the door on TOWIE. Ever. I love The Only Way Is Essex. From the bottom of my heart, I love the show."
"Of course, I've got other opportunities coming my way, and naturally, I do want to explore those," she admitted. "But I've not got any plans to leave."
Revealing she will star in the show's next series, Ferne did add that she may not be at the centre of all the drama this time round.
"I'm not leaving the show this series, but you're not going to be seeing as much of me," she told us. "I do want to concentrate on other bits and bobs."
We'll take what we can get, though, right TOWIE fans?
While Ferne is keeping tight lipped when it comes to those 'other opportunities', she did tease that she will be doing a film.
Setting her sights on the big screen, Ferne said: "I'm actually doing a film... I'm taking acting lessons and concentrating on that - so watch this space! I've been reading a lot of scripts too."
Essex beauty Ferne also shared her desire to be a TV presenter and her appearances on This Morning have only fuelled that more. After her debut, Ferne received plenty of support from fans on Twitter, with many calling for her to have her own show.
"I'm quite self-critical, but it was great feedback," Ferne added. "Sometimes I just sit there on that sofa at This Morning and think how has this happened?! It's all such a dream."
She continued: "I fit in so nicely there and I really feel so happy at the moment!"
