Since striking up a close bond in the jungle, Ferne and George have continuously found themselves at the centre of speculation they are dating. While TOWIE's Ferne admits she did fancy the Union J singer in the jungle, she insists those feelings have now passed and she and George are just pals.
But, that hasn't stopped fans still rooting for the pair to get together and Ferne admits it has become a little frustrating...
We caught up with the 25-year-old at the Copperbox Arena, ahead of the England netball squad's game against Australia, and venting her frustration, Ferne exclusively told us: "I don't know what more I can say."
She added: "We get on incredibly and I love George with all my heart, but in a friendship way."
"He's my friend and he'll always be my friend," Ferne gushed. "But that's it."
Fans of the pair had hoped romance was on the cards, after George and Ferne confessed to sharing a kiss shortly after arriving back in the UK from Oz.
At the time, George had said: "We had a few drinks, got a bit drunk and had a cheeky snog. There is potential romance but we want to take it slow."
However, Ferne played down their smooch, insisting it was just a Christmas peck. Appearing on Loose Women last month, she told the panel: "I'm going to be honest, I look at him as my friend. I have a lot of love for him and there was an attraction there, but I think he'd probably say the same. I love him as a friend."
Sounds like she's made up her mind!
It's not only George that Ferne has been linked to lately, as reports claimed she and Ex On The Beach star Rogan O'Connor had struck up a fling.
Sources teased there was definitely romance between the pair, but again, Ferne assured us there is nothing more than friendship between herself and the Dreamboy.
She said: "I sat next to him at a dinner table. It's crazy. He's a lovely guy, he's very handsome. We had banter, he's very cheeky... [Rogan] then went off to Kent after the meal and I stayed in Essex - that was it."
Confirming she is currently not taken, Ferne then added: "I'm single. 100 percent single."
Although, she did admit she would love to be in love. We asked the starlet what it would take for a guy to sweep her off her feet and she replied: "Kindness. Someone who is charismatic... just a nice guy. I've dated too many pr*cks recently. Someone that's just really nice."
