The Ex on the Beach star got her marching orders during Friday night's (22 January) live eviction episode after receiving the fewest number of public votes to save.
Speaking to Emma Willis, she said: "I knew, I had this feeling all day and everyone else in there is big, they have massive followings and I've been on one TV show. Coming on here was winning for me. I can't believe I made it on here. When I found out, I thought it was a joke."
Megan had been up against a whopping six other housemates: Gemma Collins, John Partridge, Stephanie Davis, Jeremy McConnell, Danniella Westbrook and Tiffany Pollard.
At the start of Friday night's show, host Emma Willis had said only one per cent separated the bottom three housemates.
She announced during the first of Friday night's live eviction show that Gemma, John and Tiffany were safe as they had received the most public votes to save. Gemma expressed disappointment at being safe, saying: "Please let me go." Tiffany, meanwhile, looked happy, and John looked pretty stunned!
The actual eviction was revealed during the later 10.30pm show.
According to the bookies,former Hollyoaks actress actress Stephanie had been the favourite to be evicted.Chants of 'Get Stephanie Out' rang out when Emma announced the nominees, prompting Stephanie to assure the others that it would her to go, only she was wrong and Emma announced Megan's name.
Megan is the fourth celebrity to be evicted, following Winston McKenzie, Nancy Dell'Olio and Kristina Rihanoff. Three celebrities have also quit this series: Jonathan Cheban, David Gest and Angie Bowie.
