Big Brother tells the housemates that they have to take part in a new task called 'Just Go Along With It', in which the public have been voting to send two housemates to jail.
John Partridge is revealed as the first housemate to spend the day in jail and is escorted there by two police officers to his cell.
Then, Gemma is told that she must join him, but she refuses. She tells the housemates,"sorry guys, I'm not doing it. I don't feel well" explaining that she gets "claustrophobic".
Her reason seems to annoy housemates, as Stephanie Davis tells John that Gemma is "pathetic" and should be "frigging ashamed".
Continuing her rant in the Diary Room, Gemma once again tells Danniella Westbrook that she's "had enough" and threatens to walk.
"I don't need the money," she says. "Do you think these c*nts are going to pay my mortgage? I've got money. I'm going, I've had enough. I ain't dancing to their tune no more.
"They don't get it, I'm claustrophobic. They're not listening."
As for being chosen by the public to go to jail, Gemma tells John: "Don't worry about the public putting us up for that, it just means we're popular."
Gemma and John face tonight's eviction alongside Megan, Jeremy, Stephanie, Danniella and Tiffany.
CBB airs nightly on Channel 5.
