According to The Mirror, the crowds outside the Borehamhood compound began shouting, "Get Sam in! Get Sam in!" just as host Emma Willis was about to announce the latest evictee.
They had initially been chanting, "Get John out!" in reference to nominee John Partridge, before apparently switching their focus to model Sam.
While not a housemate, Sam has been in the headlines as much as the actual housemates this year.
Well, it's because his girlfriend Stephanie has been developing a very close friendship with model housemate Jeremy McConnell, which led to a kiss under the bedsheets.
Of course, that means plenty of rumours about whether or not Sam will dump her, sources talking about how shocked and heartbroken he is, and even speculation that Big Brother bosses will slip Sam into the house at some stage to confront Steph and Jeremy.
None of that has been confirmed.
Sam hasn't tweeted about Stephanie since 11 January when he said: "Hi everyone, I will no longer be supporting Stephanie Davis... Thanks for all your support and love you have given me!!"
He then added: "I would like to clarify that Stephanie and I continue to remain a couple irrespective of comments on social media surrounding our relationship saying that I've 'dumped' her as she still remains in the house.
"Monday's comment was me withdrawing my support via social media for the time being. I will be talking to her when she leaves the Big Brother house."
"I would never end a relationship over text or social media. I want to talk to Steph face to face."
CBB airs at 9pm on Channel 5.
