The TOWIE star shared a heartwarming photo of the moment she first met her friend's gorgeous baby, sitting on a sofa as she cradled Paul on her lap in front of a Christmas tree - just three days after his birth.
From the looks of her loving gaze, Ferne was immediately smitten with the newcomer. Well, who can blame her? He's a total cutie.
Telling fans about the moment, Ferne wrote: "Here is a pic with me & a 3 day old Baby Paul. He is absolutely perfect & I have totally fallen in love. Funnily enough he likes my loud voice so @samanthafaiers1 tells me. Congrats Manf & Paul. Baby Paul Knightley is beautiful."
As one of Sam's closest friends, Ferne has already dubbed herself 'Auntie Ferne' and was no doubt one of the first to meet the new arrival. After Sam gave birth the I'm A Celeb star was quick to tell her she'd be there to mentor him, saying "now I can teach the baby boy to be as cray as his Auntie Ferne".
Sam and her boyfriend, also named Paul first welcomed their son on 29 December. The couple announced the arrival of their first child on Instagram, sharing a photo of themselves clutching onto baby Paul's tiny fingers.
First-time-mum Sam delighted fans yesterday when she posted the first snap of her baby boy, just hours old. The sweet photo showed Paul puckering his lips and looking ever-so cosy in a white baby grow.
Sam wrote alongside the image: "Just a few hours old, our beautiful baby ... Look at those lips, we can't help but just kiss him all the time."
The couple's baby joy came almost a year after they first began dating, when Sam announced she was pregnant in August last year.
Although the pregnancy is now over, fans will get an inside glimpse of what the journey was like for Sam, as she and Paul have documented the lead up to them becoming parents, including Sam's labour and baby Paul's arrival for a one-off show Sam Faiers: The Baby Diaries.
The 90-minute special will show everything from baby scans all the way through to intimate home video footage captured while Sam was in labour, as well as seeing the new parents bring their newborn home and adjust to the first few weeks of parenthood.
