Taking to Instagram earlier today, Miley shared a new selfie with fans and appeared to be wearing her old engagement ring, given to her by her ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, on her wedding finger.
Noticing the sparkler, fans were quick to put two and two together and questioned the starlet on whether she and her former flame are set to wed again.
In her photo, Miley can be seen sporting an unusual green polka dot outfit and matching hat, along with a candyfloss pink-hued coat.
Posing for the camera, the 'Wrecking Ball' singer held her left hand up for the photo, showing off her diamond ring.
Miley's followers pointed out that the ring was the exact one Liam had proposed with back in 2012. She had been dating the actor on/off for three years, before he finally proposed four years ago.
The pair later split, however, a year later.
One fan asked alongside Miley's post: "Is that her original engagement ring from Liam?!" While another commented: "I'M PRETTY SURE THAT IS THE ENGAGEMENT RING THAT LIAM BOUGHT HER..."
Another fan added: "SHE'S BACK WITH LIAM IT'S THEIR RING."
Miley's Instagram post comes after it was reported she and ex Liam had rekindled their romance.
The couple sparked reunion rumours earlier this month, after partying with each other over New Year in Liam's native Australia.
Miley had been pictured with Liam's family and friends at the Falls Music Festival and a source had revealed the duo had been "cuddling and kissing" at the event.
Miley, 23, and Liam, 25, met on the set of 2010 romantic drama The Last Song. Following their break up, the pair had spoken affectionately about each other in interviews.
"I don't think those feelings will ever change," Liam had said. "And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be."
Miley, meanwhile, told ELLE: "Me and Liam are still so close and we love each other, and they make it like there is negativity."
