The male model goes to bed early to avoid any more "emotional sh*t" in scenes to be shown on Sunday night (17 January).
When former Hollyoaks star Steph follows him into the bedroom, the Irish housemate asks her to leave before lashing out at their "messy" situation.
The growing friendship between Jeremy and Stephanie has been a talking point in - and out of - the house, mostly due to the fact that she has boyfriend Sam Reece on the outside. Or, at least, she DID have.
In the heartfelt scenes, Jeremy's clearly had enough.
When Stephanie asks why he's being moody, he fires back: "I'm bored of it. The whole thing. I'm sick of this emotional s***. I can't deal with it.
"My head can't take any more of it. My head's f***ed, I just want to sleep.
"I can't listen to you. This is messy, like... I just want to take myself out of the situation. I can't deal with it, my head's wrecked.
'I'm sick of listening to you. I don't want to talk to you. You coming over here makes it worse all the time. I don't want to talk to you. I'll talk to you outside. I don't want to do this."
As Steph got more and more upset and asked what she had done, he fired back: "Don't act stupid. You know. It's the things you say. I'm done with it.
"I have to look out for myself as well. You're doing one thing, and then doing another and I'm being a mug. I look like I'm being an a***hole."
Stephanie in turn tells Jeremy she's "never been in this position before", describing him as her "best mate".
In a painful end to the conversation, Jeremy tells Steph: "It's you, it's not me."
Jeremy's change of heart comes after house pal Scotty T warned him off becoming too close to Stephanie in the house because of her boyfriend.
On Friday night, viewers saw Jeremy tell Stephanie that they'd kissed under the duvet when she claimed she didn't remember.
A worried Steph asked: "Did I do anything before bed last night? We didn't do anything wrong did we?"
