The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told Howard Stern's radio show that she'd kept Lamar in a "bubble" since he regained consciousness in October, after being found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel.
"I've kept him in a bubble the whole time," she explained. "I don't want to set back his healing."
Khloe said there was one close call when she entered his hospital room to find he'd been Googling himself to find out whether the news of his collapse had been made public.
"One day I came him and he was Googling 'Lamar Odom overdose'. I randomly walked in the room when he did this. He saw the surveillance video online. I grabbed the iPad and was like, 'What the f**k are you doing? I've been trying to protect you. I don't want this to hurt you.'
"I have to remember he has no idea what people know, if we only found him and this is private. He hasn't seen anything. Nothing."
That may change soon, however, as Lamar has now left the Los Angeles hospital where he'd been transferred following his treatment in Las Vegas immediately after the collapse.
He's now being treated at a private facility in LA.
Khloe and Lamar split in 2013 but their divorce is yet to be finalised.
