Former EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has joined the lineup for Channel 4's The Jump.

Louisa (who played Ruby Allen on the BBC soap) will be heading over to Austria with slew of her fellow celebrities to take part in the winter sports competition when it returns to our screens.

She'll be taking to the slopes to compete alongside the likes of Westlife's Brian McFadden, Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington and TOWIE star James 'Arg' Argent.

Speaking ahead of the show, Louisa admitted she may find The Jump a little challenging as she revealed she has never skied before.

Taking to Twitter to confirm her place on the show, she tweeted: "Get me to Austria!! Can't wait to start #TheJump @Channel4 (I have NEVER skied before) GULP."

Luckily for her, she's not the only one lacking in expertise.

Arg revealed he too has never mastered the art of skiing, telling fans: "I've never been on a skiing holiday in my life, only Brentwood dry ski slopes once with @wrighty_ lol! This is going to be hard/Hilarious #TheJump."

Other stars expected to join them in Austria include Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding, Linford Christie, gymnast Beth Tweddle and Made In Chelsea star Mark-Francis Vandelli - we can't wait to see him in action!

The Jump's last series was won by Joey Essex.
