After The X Factor final wrapped up last month, Cheryl was quick to hint she would be heading back to the studio in 2016 and it sounds like she may be joined by one oh-so-cool familiar face.
According to The Mirror, 'Seven Days' singer Craig could be collaborating with Chezza. YES PLEASE.
It's said Cheryl and Craig got talking about working together at The X Factor final, following Craig's comeback performance with Cheryl's act Reggie 'N' Bollie.
An insider told the paper: "Cheryl and Craig are fans of each other's work. Cheryl listened to Craig's earlier work as a teenager and also likes his new material."
"He's keen to help write a track for her," they added. "The timing is perfect for both of them musically - and they both have plenty of ideas."
Anyone else hoping Craig not only writes but sings on the track with Cheryl too?
Reports of the pair working together comes after Cheryl recently confirmed she will be working on new material. The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer said: "I'll be starting new music in the New Year.
"I don't know how long the process will take. It will depend on how inspired I am to start songwriting or whether I get sent the right tracks, but I'm looking forward to getting back into the studio soon."
While there has been specualtion lately that Cheryl's marriage to husband Jean-Bernard is 'on the rocks', the 32-year-old has chosen to ignore such claims and has been throwing herself into her big music plans instead.
Earlier this week, Cheryl told her excited fanbase that it's time for her to start working on her music again, before hinting she means business this year.
Sharing a black and white selfie to Instagram, the starlet said: "Think it's time for the.. Studio!!! It is [on] 2016..."
Craig, meanwhile, has just made his return to the charts with his new tune 'When The Bassline Drops' and we predict there's going to be big things from him followig his comeback.
