Ahead of CBB launching tomorrow night (Tuesday 5 January), Kim Kardashian's BFF Jonathan has been heavily rumoured to appear as one of the celebrity housemates.
Kim even appeared to confirm his appearance in a now deleted tweet, but reports suggest her husband Kanye isn't so keen for Jonathan to join the lineup of the Channel 5 reality show.
A source exclusively told Reveal: "Kim has show her support for Jonathan appearing on CBB on Twitter, but Kanye isn't happy he's doing the show. There's some friction there between him and Kim as Jonathan is still going ahead with it."
Kim had tweeted about Jonathan's CBB stint on Sunday, telling fans she thinks he is going to be 'hysterical' in the house.
She told fans on Twitter: "OMGGGG I can't believe @JonathanCheban is doing celeb Big Brother UK. I'm dying to see this! He's going to be hysterical!!!!"
While the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star seems all for her bestie living under Big Brother's rule for a few weeks, reports suggest she does have some reservations about Jonathan being on camera.
According to The Daily Star, Kim has banned Jonathan from talking about her family and doesn't want her husband Kanye, daughter North, two, month-old son Saint and Caitlyn Jenner mentioned on the show.
An insider told the paper: "Kim has made him sign a gagging order saying what he can and can't talk about. Kanye, North West, Saint West and Caitlyn Jenner and strictly off bounds."
She and Jonathan have been friends for years, with the US star recently revealing he and Kim met purely by accident.
Appearing on ITV's Lorraine for his first ever UK interview, the 41-year-old explained: "I've been around in LA and Hollywood for a long time and I happened to sit next to Kim at a birthday dinner by accident. We got on instantly. She's the sweetest girl in the entire world so after that we just started talking."
He revealed his ties with the Kardashians go back to before their hit reality show hit our screens, insisting the family can trust him like a brother.
However, when it came to CBB, Jonathan remained tight-lipped. Playing coy he told host Lorraine Kelly: "I don't know. Who told you that? I was sleeping last night. I woke up to 1,000 Google alerts from The Mail, Mirror, Sun, everywhere… I don't know what you're talking about!"
If he does enter the house, he is set to join the likes of ex-EastEnder Danniella Westbrook, TOWIE's Gemma Collins, Geordie Shore star Scott Timlin and former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis.
Celebrity Big Brother returns Tuesday 5 January at 9pm on Channel 5.
