TOWIE's James 'Arg' Argent has wrapped up his festive panto stint as he prepares to learn new winter sporting skills on The Jump.

Over the Christmas period, Arg unleashed his acting talents as Dandini, Prince Charming's right-hand man, in Cinderella at the Kings Theatre.

Arg said on Sunday night (3 January): "Amazing experience doing my 1st ever Pantomime with these great people! Made friends for life & so many memories! Love & miss #Portsmouth Already!"

Staying in Portsmouth for the duration of his panto stint, Arg had regular visits from his girlfriend Lydia Bright. He was also visited by some of his co-stars including Georgia Kousoulou, Tommy Mallet and Harry Derbidge.

But, now that his panto is over with, it's only going to get busier for Arg.

The reality star and TOWIE original is gearing up to compete on the slopes for Channel 4's gruelling winter sports show when it returns later this month.

Arg, who confirmed he had joined the line-up via Twitter, said: "I'm sure it's going to be tough but great entertainment for you guys!"

He also admitted: "I've never been on a skiing holiday in my life, only Brentwood dry ski slopes once with @wrighty_ lol! This is going to be hard/Hilarious #TheJump."

Well, we're sure Arg will be getting some tips from his mate and former co-star Joey Essex, who won last year's series!

Other stars taking part in this series include former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, Made In Chelsea's Mark-Francis Vandelli, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle, Westlife star Brian McFadden, Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington and former sprinter Linford Christie.
