New coaches Boy George and Paloma Faith clash in the show, and it takes a turn for the worse as Boy George reduces Paloma to tears.
Speaking on Alan Carr's Chatty Man Christmas special, co-host Marvin Humes said both coaches are "fiery, and very opinionated. They are very passionate as well".
He added: "George is incredible. He is an icon and for him to be on the show is amazing for us. Paloma doesn't hold back and the two are getting on swimmingly, aren't they?"
Co-host Emma Willis revealed that the pair clashed while pitching for a singer, which was "pretty full on".
However, there's no negativity between the pair, as Boy George and Paloma are actually "quite good friends" and have been long before joining the show.
"I think they feel quite easy with each other to be honest and opinionated and that comes out every now and then," continued Emma.
Marvin added: "It was an explosive day. It went on for about half an hour. And yeah it ended up in tears. You will see it on the show."
Luckily for them, the judges made up by the end of the night, and it was like nothing had ever happened.
And, it seems like Boy George and Paloma aren't even letting their fellow judges Ricky Wilson and will.i.am have a word in.
"I think it was quite funny for Will and Ricky to not be able to get a word in," said Emma.
Marvin, who said Ricky and Will are "the quietest so far", said viewers will be "blown away" by Boy George and Paloma.
