Apparently, Mel C thinks that every original band member is needed in order for the comeback to be a success.
In case you missed the very exciting memo, the 90's pop stars were set to reform in 2016 for an anniversary tour, with four of the five original members, to mark a whole 20 years the band first started.
Although Emma Bunton previously dismissed claims of a tour, Mel B admitted they were talking about a possible reunion, and assured fans she was trying her best to convince her former bandmates to get on board.
Reports say Emma, Mel B, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Horner were set to spice up our lives on tour, while it was thought Victoria Beckham decided to focus on building her fashion empire instead.
However, it's probably not wise to buy a Union Jack dress just yet, as the plans have been hit with rumours that Mel C aka Sporty Spice is refusing to sign up without Victoria joining in as Posh Spice, believing the original line-up is required to really make it work.
A source told The Sun: "This means good management, good tour promoters and good sponsorship to maximise revenue. To fulfil this Mel believes the band has to be the original five-piece and Victoria needs to be involved."
Do you think the Spice Girls would work without Victoria? We're seriously hoping this goes ahead!
