After a four-year engagement, the couple finally tied the knot in front of family and friends at St Paul's Church in Knightsbridge on 20 December.
Now details have emerged about their special day, with footballer Frank telling his wedding guests, which included a host of celebrity pals, how he fell head over heels with Christine after just one week.
Frank made a touching speech about his late mum and his love for TV presenter Christine as guests enjoyed a five-course dinner at The Arts Club in Mayfair, London.
One guest told The Mirror: "Frank was basically saying it was the best day of his life and he wished his mum had been there to see it.
"He said his mum would have loved Christine too if they had met and he got very choked up."
And, according to reports, Frank also leapt on stage with Ed Sheeran (who the couple had booked to perform at the wedding) for a duet of Westlife's 'Flying Without Wings'.
Recalling how they met at the Pride of Britain awards in 2009, Piers Morgan - who said a few words at the wedding - revealed on Good Morning Britain: "Christine came into the bar and Frank said, 'Who's that? She looks a bit of a sort', which I think is East End for 'She's attractive.' I said, 'She's way above your league mate.'
"Anyway, next thing, they get together, he said in his speech, he was away playing for England and they spoke every night for four hours and just fell madly in love in one week."
Piers also revealed that Frank was "very tearful" during his speech in front of guests.
It was a star-studded affair for Christine and Frank with Piers, Ant and Dec, Phillip Schofield, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, Holly Willoughby, Kelly Hoppen and Adrian Chiles just some of the guests in attendance.
