She once broke the internet and now Kim Kardashian has crashed the Apple Store with the launch of her new app, Kimoji.

The genius idea to create her own set of emojis (we mean, we wish we had thought of this) sent fans into a frenzy, so much that many couldn't actually download the app on its release day on Monday.

Apple's App Store actually crashed because, well... the demand was overwhelming.

Kimoji features emojis that reference all things symbolic to Kim, including her waist trainer, platinum blonde hair debut, baby bump, *that* cry face, make-up contouring look, and of course her naked Paper magazine cover (which was that one time she broke the internet).

Mum-of-two Kim responded to the crash on Twitter, writing: "Apple, I'm so sorry I broke your App Store!"

She continued: "I can't believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store! We worked so hard on this app & we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!

"My Kimoji app will be up and running again soon! They are also working on fixing the search so u can easily find it!"

Still overwhelmed by the response, Kim added: "Ahhhhhhhh I still can't believe we broke the entire App Store!!!! #KIMOJI."

Luckily for Kim - and her fans - the crash was fixed in a few hours.

"Ok! We're back! Everything is fixed! Get KIMOJI now in the App Store!," she tweeted.
