TV presenter Denise was out and about with 7ft Fungus the Bogeyman across iconic London sights - and of course - they attracted plenty of attention.
Armed with shopping bags, mum-of-one Denise was spotted with the character from Raymond Briggs' classic book to launch Sky 1's family drama, Fungus the Bogeyman, which premieres this festive season.
Denise said: "I'm probably lucky Fungus didn't make me stop by his house for a cup of mould wine, but actually he was a real charmer and I had a great time roaming the streets with him.
"He insisted on paying for my hot chocolate like a true Bogey-gentleman, and I'll certainly be pointing my daughter in the direction of the TV when he hits our screens this Christmas."
Fancy a fun fact?
The prosthetic Fungus costume was commissioned and operated by a specialist movement actor. A team of eight took approximately three weeks to create the life-like costume.
Timothy Spall, Victoria Wood and Keeley Hawes lead an all-star cast in Fungus the Bogeyman, which premieres at 6pm on Sunday 27 December.
