We all knew a proposal was waiting in the wings and tomorrow night, fans will get to see former TOWIE star Ricky Rayment pop the question to Marnie out in Greece.
After a six month whirlwind romance, Ricky tells Marnie he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Spolier alert: It's an emotional one.
Surprising Marnie out in Greece, Ricky headed overseas to pop the question to his girlfriend. After whisking her away for a private dinner while the sun begins to set, Ricky then tells Marnie he's got a surprise for her.
Things then get a little intense as he begins his proposal speech. A nervous Ricky tells his reality star love: "I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I love everything about you. I love your smile, I love your eyes, your personality... I love everything."
Asked what he is doing by Marnie, he continues: "I want to be that couple that when we get old, we look back and we go, 'you know what we made it.' I can't get my words out..."
He then tells her to look over the cliff tip and 'Marry Me?' is cutely spelled out in lanterns on the beach below.
A shocked Marnie turns back around and Ricky is already on one knee with a diamond sparkler on her hand. Romantic setting? Check. Gorgeous ring? Check. While Ricky's proposal ticked all the boxes, Marnie (we're guessing from the shock) still keeps him hanging.
And it isn't until Ricky tells her, 'You're killing me here', that she finally says yes. Way to toy with our emotions, Marnie.
Following the proposal, Marnie gushes she is the "luckiest girl" in Greece, but how will her co-stars react when she shares her big news?
Marnie's engagement may be a difficult one for her to watch, as she and Ricky have actually split since.
Three months after the Essex boy popped the question, Marnie confirmed she and Ricky had ended their romance and that she was moving forward.
At the time she tweeted: "The official end to a very important chapter in my life. Thinking positive brings positive things. Moving forward to the future... Everything happens for a reason. If something isn't meant to be, it won't be."
Maybe give this ep a miss, Marns?
Geordie Shore continues Tuesday 22 December at 10pm on MTV.
