The reality TV star, 37, confirmed the news to The Sun after receiving lots of criticism for allowing eight-year-old Princess to wear make-up.
Katie tells the newspaper: "I do not have to explain anything to anyone. Princess has just joined a modelling agency so she has got lots of castings.
"Anything like a panto or acting she would love."
The mum-of-five was criticised this week after posting several photos of her daughter wearing heavy make-up.
The snaps, shared on Katie's Instagram account, showed Princess wearing thick glossy lipstick, lashings of mascara, eyeshadow and blusher behind the scenes of Woking's New Victoria Theatre where Katie is currently starring as the Wicked Fairy.
Critics accused Katie of sexualising her child, her daughter from a previous marriage to Peter Andre.
Katie also told the newspaper: "Am I bothered? No. She loves make-up and is so good at it.
"We are in a theatre and there is make-up everywhere. When she is here, of course she can experiment. Why not? She is eight and if she wants to wear make-up then she can."
At the time, fans criticised Katie for encouraging her daughter to grow up too fast, prompting Princess to address the criticism directly herself.
In a video posted to Instagram by Katie, the schoolgirl says: "By the way I want to do my make-up not my mum. I do. Anyway, it's none of your beeswax, so oosh."
After confirming her daughter has signed to a modelling agency, Katie was accused of being "an utter disgrace".
One critic blasted: "Why on earth would any loving mum do this to their daughter?"
Whether you agree with Katie's actions or not, Princess certainly seems to be following in her mum's footsteps...
