Caroline Flack knew the perfect way to unwind yesterday (14 December), after wrapping up The X Factor recently.

On Sunday night, Caroline joined Olly Murs to announce that Louisa Johnson had been crowned this year's X Factor champ. For the last few weeks, Caroline and her BFF have been taking the reigns of the competition's live shows, and after helping 17-year-old Louise celebrate her win, the pair's diaries have finally opened up - and just in time for Christmas.

What better way to get festive than indulging in chocolate and stealing a kiss under the mistletoe...

That's exactly what Caroline got up to as she attended Cadbury's Winter Wonderland in Woolwich for part of their advent calendar campaign, although sadly, it wasn't Olly Murs she was puckering up to - even if they have done so before!

Instead of Olly, it was actually a super-cute snowman that Caroline was smooching with. We're still holding out for Olly, though, and after Cazza's latest revelations we're sure there is still hope. Just a little bit?

Ditching her bestie for her day out, Caroline enjoyed some solo festive fun and judging by the pics, it was a welcome break for the 36-year-old.

She and Olly had come under fire over the weekend, after The X Factor suffered a few technical issues during its final shows. While The X Factor took full responsibility for the mishaps and issued an apology on Twitter, that didn't stop some from hitting out at the show's hosts - and many questioned Caroline and Olly's future on the talent competition.

Caroline hit back that the glitches were not her fault or Olly's, and after being praised for handling the mistakes so well by The X Factor, Caroline insisted it was all part of the fun of live TV.

Regardless of the criticism, though, Caroline has said she would love to return to The X Factor with Olly next year.

When asked in a recent interview if she would do it all over again, the starlet gushed: "Oh absolutely!"
