Star Wars: The Force Awakens had its world premiere in Los Angeles tonight, bringing together cast, crew, mega fans and everyone in between!
Original stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher were all in attendance, alongside newbies including Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, Game of Thrones's Gwendoline Christie and British actors John Boyega and Daisy Ridley.
Some eager fans had started camping outside the Los Angeles cinema as far back as TWELVE DAYS AGO in a bid to see their sci fi heroes and grab an early screening ticket. One couple even travelled from Australia to have a Star Wars-themed wedding at the venue, according to BBC News!
As you'd expect, plenty of fans dressed up for the event, including famous fan Joseph Gordon Levitt who channelled his inner Yoda with green face paint. We totes still fancy him, though.
Other celeb fans in attendance included Modern Family's Sarah Hyland and boyfriend Dominic Sherwood, newlyweds Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, actresses Zendaya and Jaime King, actor Jason Bateman, singer Janelle Monae and Karrueche Tran.
The latest instalment in the Star Wars franchise is directed, co-produced and co-written by J. J. Abrams, famous for Lost and the Star Trek reboot.
It's the seventh movie in the saga after original movies – A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi – and the later trilogy – The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
The Force Awakens is the first in a new trilogy of movies to be released between now and 2019, with events taking place around 30 years after Return of the Jedi. The plot is a closely guarded secret with all reviews embargoed for now.
It releases in cinemas on 18 December.
