Christmas gets an Essex makeover in this year's festive episode, and amongst all the sparkle and champagne, the seasonal goodwill seems to have an effect on Lewis and Jess.
At the end of series 16 things weren't great between the pair after they shared a drunken kiss and caused the romance between Pete Wicks and Jess to become even more complex.
When filming wrapped up, Lewis revealed he was "glad" the series was behind him, as his smooch with Jess not only made things rocky between her and Pete, but also led to a fallout between the two boys.
However from the looks of it, the pair have a serious conversation and manage to patch things up with a big hug at Essexmas, in front of a very festive looking fire place!
Well, that's good news - we wouldn't want another Twitter storm, after all!
And as for Jess and Pete, well she's already said he's the only guy in with a chance under the mistletoe. She told TOWIE fans: "If I'm going to be kissing anyone under the mistletoe it's going to be Pete, but whether we will or not I really don't know at this stage.
"It's always nice to be with someone or around someone that you quite fancy around Christmas because it's quite a couple-y time of the year. If not I suppose me and Danielle are going to have to snuggle up in front of the fire together!"
Ten reasons why we want to be on TOWIE!
