The three acts booked their place at Wembley in last night's semi final, which saw Lauren Murray given the boot with just one week to go before the winner is announced.
Lauren was eliminated after losing to Che in the sing off. They both ended up in the bottom two and after singing for survival, the judges took it to deadlock, which revealed Lauren had the fewest number of public votes.
Speaking on Xtra Factor, head judge Simon – who sent the vote to deadlock when he failed to choose between Lauren and Che – said: "I could have made an argument for both of them. Che was better on the night but I took into account how much I liked her, basically, and I thought the fairest thing was to see who the public put through.
"Whatever happens, it will be a great final and all three have a shot of winning this. I'm delighted. I think they all deserve their spot in there. These three each had a great night last night, put them in front of 10,000 people next week and we'll see what happens."
Simon is the only judge going into the final with no acts. Rita Ora mentors Louisa, Nick Grimshaw mentors Che and Cheryl oversees Reggie 'n' Bollie.
Double act Reggie 'n' Bollie were first to go through to the live finale, much to Cheryl's delight! They were the first names called out and my heart was pounding. It takes you a second to absorb the name! I believed in all my groups from the beginning," she said.
Nick was also thrilled about Che's success but disappointed for Lauren. "I'm really happy but again really sad that Lauren has gone. Aside from my boys, I think I was pretty much the biggest Lauren fan that could be. It was sad to see Lauren go but it just shows how good the competition is this year, that anyone could win it from the final four."
It was a bittersweet night for Rita, meanwhile, who lost Lauren but saw Louisa through to the final.
