The Big Brother stars married in front of family and friends in Essex on 7 November, and now they'll be on screen to mark the 10th anniversary of the first civil partnership.
Rylan and Dan meet Christopher Cramp - who was the first to have a same sex civil ceremony 10 years ago when the Civil Partnership Act became law.
Explaining Friday's interview, Rylan said: "Dan and I have been speaking to Chris for about a year now. When we first got engaged, we started to look more into civil partnerships and marriage - because it was only a year ago that marriage was legalised - and it's now ten years ago, that it was legalised for civil partnerships, and we were keen to speak with Chris about that.
"Listening to Chris' story, not many people realised that his partner was terminally ill and they managed to waver the fifteen day legal period to become the first couple in this country to have a civil partnership, which was fantastic, but unfortunately his partner Matthew died the next day. Although he got his dying wish which was to be married to his partner that he'd been with for years."
Relating this to his own experience, Rylan continued: "When we got engaged a year ago, marriage was only just legalised then... so we're very lucky that we managed to get married and meet each other at that time so we could do that. It was a lot easier for us, but when you hear Chris' story and about his partner Matthew it just really hits home to anyone whether you have a view on it or not."
Dan and Rylan got engaged in September 2014 after a romantic proposal in Paris. They met in 2013.
Speaking about working with his new hubby bonTV, Rylan said: "It was weird! We felt like Ruth and Eamonn! It was really, really strange, obviously me and Dan do a lot of work together away from TV on the development side, so we are used to doing stuff like that, but to do stuff on camera together was a little bit strange. But I really enjoyed it... it was really nice and it felt easy because it was something we both wanted to talk about."
Rylan and Dan will be on This Morning tomorrow, 10.30am on ITV.
