Thor star Chris was suited and booted in a grey suit, crisp white shirt and red tie at the premiere of his new film, In The Heart Of The Sea, held at the Empire Leicester Square.
Chris, who rose to fame after playing Kim Hyde in Home and Away from 2004 to 2007, was the star of the night as he walked the special blue carpet with co-stars Ben Walker, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland and Charlotte Riley.
In The Heart Of The Sea tells the story of a whaling crew who were believed to have been stranded at sea for 90 days, thousands of miles from home, after their boat was damaged by a sperm whale in 1820.
For the role, Chris had to lose weight to play malnourished crew member Owen Chase, and he found himself on a diet of just 500 calories.
Chris told London Live: "I'd done it for Rush but not this extreme and it's something I didn't necessarily want to do again.
"But it added to what we were putting on screen. By those final sequences when we were supposed to be exhausted and emotional, we were feeling that way off screen too so it helped."
