The Apprentice's Karren Brady had a simple response when asked about one of the show's most controversial candidates.

Karren talked about Lord Alan Sugar's show at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards 2015 with Baileys on Wednesday (2 December).

Karren collected an award at the ceremony.

When asked what she thinks about Selina Waterman-Smith publicly slamming the show, Karren simply quipped: "Who?"

She continued: "I don't know, I have nothing to say."

The show reaches its penultimate episode next week and Karren - who won an award for Ultimate Businesswoman - said she's enjoyed filming it.

Selina was fired by Lord Sugar on Wednesday's episode (2 December).

"I love doing the show, I love working with Alan, and Claude has been a great addition," Karren told Reveal. "I would seriously miss it if I wasn't doing it."

It's been announced that Claude Littner will return for the all-important Interview stage, but Karren doesn't think it's a job for her anymore.

"I did the interviews for around two or three years but now I just do the main show," she said. "I don't do the interviews because I think it's quite difficult when you've been following the candidates around for a long time and then you look at their business plans, it's a bit awkward.

"Also, at the time the interview stage was filmed, I was interviewing for a new manager, so I couldn't have physically been able to do it."
