Viewers of the ITV show are seeing a very different Vicky to the one many are familiar with from shows such as Geordie Shore or Ex on the Beach.
But Vicky's mum Caroll has said this is the real Vicky and she's thrilled that the public are getting to see this side of her daughter.
Caroll told The Mirror: "My girl is so witty and down to earth and the comments I've seen from everyone watching is that they love that side of her.
"I've always been proud of what she has achieved as she's my baby. But some of her shows like Geordie Shore have been very hard to watch and discuss with the family as the show required her to drink lots and be argumentative. It wasn't the real Vicky in Geordie Shore. It was sometimes uncomfortable viewing. I'm A Celebrity is much nicer to watch."
Caroll went on to say that Vicky, 28, would be thrilled to win as it would show she's changed public perception.
"Winning would prove to her that people really do finally think she is a nice, genuine and funny person that others relate to and like. I would love her to win more than anything right now as Vicky and all of us as a family have endured lots of negativity and bad publicity over the years."
Caroll's comments contradict those from Vicky's former Geordie Shore co-star Gaz Beadle, who suggested last week that Vicky's got a gameplan and not showing her true colours.
He said: "It's not Vicky. She's playing a very safe game. I've known her for a long time and she's the most argumentative person I've ever met in my life. At the minute she's playing it very safe and trying to get everyone to like her. The Vicky I know would have mixed it up, put Lady C with Duncan, but she's playing a safe game."
Gaz added: "The only person in there who could have a good argument with Lady C would be Vicky. I know that. I'm waiting for that to happen."
