Having stormed to victory on the ITV talent show, no day is the same for the former van driver who has just released his debut self-titled album.
While a lot of work has gone into his first record (Ben spent the last year working on his album in London and Los Angeles), he has also been having to look after his appearance.
Speaking about his new look, Ben told Free Radio Live's Adam Wilbourn: "I think it's more like what do I look like now [as opposed to back then]. They get me spray tans now, they wax the hair out of my nose. It's a strange place to be, being all preened like that. The real X-Factor experience…spray tans."
Ben won the show last year with Fleur East as runner-up, and got a Christmas Number 1 with his rendition of One Republic's 'Something I Need'.
A year later, Ben teamed up with Kelly Clarkson for his second single 'Second Hand Heart' and he has just released his self-titled debut album.
Now, Ben is looking forward to a UK tour next year where he is set to play 16 shows in April. Ben's tour, which is in place to support his debut album, will kick off in Norwich on 7 April before ending at Hull's City Hall on 27 April.
