X Factor contestants 4th Impact have defended Cheryl Fernandez-Versini claiming the talent show judge 'eats most of the pizza' backstage.

Cheryl's slimmed down frame has caused a stir since the new X Factor series kicked off, but according to the girl group it's 'amazing' the Geordie is thin. Far from shunning the backstage catering, Cheryl is apparently 'always eating' and has a fondness for pizza. Ah, we'd get on well by the sounds of it.

Talking to The Sun, singer Almira Cercado said: "Cheryl's always eating. When we eat pizza backstage, she has most of it. It's amazing she's so thin. I don't know how she does it but, trust us, we want to know as much as anyone."

Cheryl has shut down body critics multiple times in recent months, telling fans in one Instagram post: "I am so sick and tired of it being ok to call somebody too thin or a 'bag of bones'. I would never dream of calling somebody too fat and that they should maybe cut down on their food intake? What is the difference? You have no idea what I have been through. Just losing my father in law v recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone."

The former Girls Aloud singer later reassured followers that she's "happy and healthy", however that hasn't stopped the comments from coming. The Apprentice's Alan Sugar expressed concern over Cheryl's size recently, calling her 'too thin'.

While some of his 4.68million followers agreed with him, others were quick to defend Cheryl. One person was totally unimpressed, saying: "@Lord_Sugar oh shut up. She is absolutely beautiful regardless of her size. What matters is that she is healthy."

However, there were many who agreed with the BBC star, including one who joined the debate saying: "Oh come off it, she's lost loads of noticeable weight which is not her natural size, that's clear!"
