The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a reflective message to her official website to celebrate Thanksgiving in the US on Thursday (26 November).
She told fans she was especially thankful for her family after such a difficult couple of months, following the collapse of estranged husband Lamar Odom in Nevada.
Khloe said: "On Thanksgiving, my family and I always go around the dinner table and say what we're thankful for as I'm sure most families in America do. This year, I'm overly thankful my family.
"My family has been through a ton of trials and tribulations mixed with blessings on blessings on blessings. But when times get tough, my family seems to thrive and band together. We find a way to always persevere. Rise above the ashes!! Without my crazy, chaotic, amazing family, I'm not sure how I could have gone through some of the things that I was tested with this year.
"I'm sure we say we are all thankful for our families. And I think that is the most beautiful thing to be thankful for, but every night I thank the Lord for blessing me with the world's best support system and team of unconditional love."
The 31-year-old added that she would be having more than one Thanksgiving as not only will she celebrate with family, she'll host a meal for friends and visit Lamar in hospital.
Lamar, 36, was found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel on 13 October and spent several days in a coma and battling for his life.
Now, he's been transferred to a hospital in LA where he is slowly recovering and learning how to walk and feed himself again. Khloe has said the process could take more than a year but she'll be by his side every step of the way.
They split in 2013 but the divorce has not been finalised yet.
