Fans turned out in force yesterday to welcome Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles to Mexico City – so many, in fact, that police were called to ensure everyone's safety!
Hundreds of fans turned up to a photocall to catch a glimpse of their idols, who were making their last appearance in Mexico before their planned hiatus in the new year.
According to local media reports, fans gathered outside the Four Seasons Hotel from early morning after hearing the boys were giving a press conference inside.
Apparently the crowds went wild when Liam and Niall opened windows in the hotel at one stage to wave at the fans below.
One Direction are promoting their new album, Made In The AM, which was released earlier this month. It features the smash single 'Drag Me Down', as well as new song 'Perfect'. It's the band's first album since Zayn Malik quit in March,
The boys are planning to promote the album through the new year but will temporarily disband around March to take a breather and focus on individual projects. They have, however, assured fans they are not splitting and will definitely get back together in the future.
