The model and television presenter is the new head judge of the reality show, which has been revamped and updated with a brand new panel, new challenges and everything else that makes Next Top Model one of our favourite franchises!
Abbey said: "Britain's Next Top Model was where I began 10 years ago so I know how the girls felt and how scary it was, not knowing what was going to happen. I am honoured that they picked me to be a worthy head judge and I absolutely loved making show.
"Lifetime is the best place for reality TV and this show is the epitome of reality. We have a crash course in modelling and we have got real lives, real girls, real dramas, real judges – it's perfect."
The mother-of-two got her first taste of fame in the second series of Britain's Next Top Model in 2006, finishing runner-up. She's since gone on to a successful modelling and TV career with highlights including winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2013.
She'll return to her modelling roots in January when the new series of Britain's Next Top Model kicks off on Lifetime, joining Paul Sculfor, Hilary Alexander and Nicky Johnston on the judging panel.
The popular reality TV show last aired on Sky Living in 2013.
Meanwhile, the franchise that started it all, America's Next Top Model, will be ending after 12 years on air and an incredible 22 series.
Show creator and host Tyra Banks confirmed that news in October, saying the 22nd cycle – which wraps this December in the US - would be the last.
