Katie Price has said she's been watching ex-husband Peter Andre perform on Strictly Come Dancing every week.

Former glamour model Katie was asked about Peter's participation on the BBC One talent show as she talked to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain.

In fact, mum-of-five Katie revealed she wants to try out the glamorous costumes and gruelling dance schedules herself after admitting she's eyeing up a stint on the show.

When asked by Piers if she watches Strictly, Katie said she often tunes in, and Princess and Junior (her two children she shares with Peter) watch their dad in action too.

Peter narrowly avoided being voted off the show over the weekend after ending up in the bottom two with Jamelia.

"We do watch that, every night before X Factor," revealed Katie. "I always thought Pete would win, he's a really good dancer, but it just goes to show. They do say if you can dance, it's a harder show to do than if you couldn't.

Katie reckons she could follow in Pete's footsteps on Strictly...

"Maybe if hey put me in it, it would be good because I can't dance and they can make me dance!"

Katie was then asked if Princess and Junior are excited to watch their dad every week: "Princess wasn't bothered [about watching it] but Junior is because he's more the entertainer. He's [Pete] doing well in it."

Katie also said that she's been watching I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!. Katie first entered the jungle in 2004, where she actually met and later went on to marry Peter before their divorce in 2009. She made a return to the jungle in November 2009.

Speaking about this year's line-up, Katie said she already has her winner: "I have to root for Chris Eubank as he's from Brighton and so I am."
