During Sunday night's results show (22 November), viewers watched as Lauren appeared to brush off one of the sisters as the acts gathered at the side of the stage to watch the sing-off.
Some eagle-eyed viewers noted the alleged altercation, with many taking to Twitter saying Lauren was "rude" for "pushing" the girl, and others claiming Lauren had called her a "sl*g."
Slamming the comments, Lauren cleared up any speculation on Twitter, saying she had not use any derogatory words, but was in fact cheering on Che Chesterman.
Lauren tweeted: "OMG! Just to clear up I said come on Che!! People love a bit of drama I adore 4th Impact."
4th Impact also recorded a video message from the Xtra Factor studios with Lauren by their side, where they said: "She's one of our big sister. We love you."
The added: "She's our friend, we love Lauren, she's great, she was saying 'Come on Che'. It's not bad, okay."
Sunday's results show saw Anton Stephans eliminated from the competition after facing the sing-off with Che. On Saturday, Mason Noise was sent home after receiving the fewest votes.
