Simon bid farewell to his last remaining act Anton, who was in the Overs category, after he ended up in the bottom two with Che Chesterman.
Both acts sung for survival, but Simon was the only judge to save Anton, meaning he was immediately out of the competition.
It was an emotional weekend for Anton, who was forced to defend himself when faced with criticism from Nick Grimshaw.
On Saturday's show, Anton performed 'One Sweet Day' during Love and Heartbreak Week, but Nick old him: "I don't know if you're the kind of artist who I want to listen to on the radio or buy the album. There's something that sill feels like an act to me, it doesn't feel real or raw enough."
Getting emotional, Anton hit back: "All of this is real. This is not an act. There's nothing fake about me."
Nick said Anton was being "aggressive", but the singer said: "I'm not being aggressive, I'm just putting you straight."
Saturday night saw Nick's act Mason Noise eliminated from the competition.
