The model showed no sympathy when it was revealed Spencer had been forced to quit the jungle 'on medical grounds'.
In fact, we detect a smidgen of glee as she took to Twitter to give her thoughts on his shock departure.
The former Made In Chelsea star wrote: "Well that lasted long ... Even your relationships last longer (just). I think I'd make a better contestant."
Perhaps Lauren, who split with Spencer in September, thought better of posting the tweet, as she soon deleted it.
But not before Spencer's best mate Jamie Laing jumped to his defence, replying: "F*** off you leaching random @iamlaurenhutton."
Trying to keep her dignity, Lauren simply responded: "@JamieLaing_UK classy as always."
As the slinging-match escalated, Jamie hit back: "The only thing you're class at is being dumped."

While Lauren thought better of continuing the feud, Jamie expressed his love for his old friend Spencer in a touching tweet, using his affectionate nickname for Spencer - "pug".
He wrote: "I couldn't be more proud of @SpencerMatthews my pug. See you soon brother."
Fellow MIC star Alex Mytton also said: "Hope the jungle gorilla @SpencerMatthews is okay whatever happened!! #ImACeleb."
Spencer did not feature in Friday night's show (20 November) after he reportedly left the show just two days in for 'medical reasons'.
An ITV spokesman confirmed: "Spencer Matthews has left the jungle. We're sorry to see him leave."
The 27-year-old joined the show on Tuesday as a late contestant along with fellow reality stars Ferne McCann and Vicky Pattison.
Spencer had been banished to Snake Rock, but was due to enter the main camp with all the contestants in the coming days.
