Viewers watched TOWIE star Ferne take part in her first Bushtucker Trial on Thursday night's show, in which she was joined by two pythons and two rounds of cockroaches in perspex boxes for the Dicing with Danger challenge.
Ferne was going head-to-head with Spencer Matthews and Vicky Pattison, who both seemed to be dealing much better with the critters than Ferne was.
Despite appearing to almost give up when she screamed, squealed and shouted, "I can't cope"... "I can't do it"... "I can't do any more", Ferne stuck it out and actually ended up winning the task.
But, Emmerdale actress Lucy took a swipe at Ferne, and her tweets were read out on ITV2 spin-off show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here Now! by comedian David Morgan.
Lucy's first tweet in particular led fans to ask if there was history between the pair, when she said: "Oh karma is a b*tch isn't it eh #Ferne #ImACeleb ... Hope they don't bite too hard."
Lucy, who came in third place on I'm A Celebrity in 2013, continued to air her thoughts on the task, implying that Ferne's experience on a reality show like TOWIE means she knows "what makes good TV".
She wrote: "Wish it was just people that we had never seen as them and didn't know how to do reality as a job. Even without a script, they know what makes good TV and what will be entertaining which is fine, but I'd rather watch someone who doesn't know how to play the game!!!!"
Following Ferne's trial, Ant McPartlin said he at first questioned Ferne's reaction, but believed she was genuinely scared.
"Ferne, I was wondering if she was putting it on," said Ant. "But actually, I think she was that scared. We did ask her [if she wanted to quit] and she did think about it but she stuck it out."
Ferne, Made In Chelsea's Spencer and former Geordie Shore star Vicky entered the jungle this week as late arrivals.
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! airs at 9pm on ITV.
